   There were several revivals, or, as I liked to think of them at the time, "Sue   
   This, Lucas!" movies:   
      
   Trek, Buck Rogers, as noted, Flash Gordon.   
   H.G. Well's The Shape of Things to Come, as they dared to call it.  It   
   borrowed only the name of the two families from the 1930s film.   
   Space Battleship Yamato took the trek from TV to movies, back to TV, etc.   
   There was also a Japanese animated film from the Lensmen books.
