Here's what the New Zealand TV Guide's DVD reviewer said ...

       Interstellar
Engrossing sci-fi drama that explores the somewhat
difficult notion of space travel and the use of
wormholes - something which in the hands of a
lesser director than Christopher Nolan could have
become a mess mired in scientific hokum. Matthew
       McConaughey continues his surprising transformation
from playboy to well-rounded actor in the central
role of Cooper, a man who must choose between his
family and possibly saving the human race. Love and
sacrifice are very much at the heart of what is a
grand undertaking carried along by impressive
special effects. Sci-fi purists will poke holes,
but this is Nolan at his best.

Rating: 4 stars (out of 5) "Very Good"
