   In a visually gripping sequel set a decade after the events of the original   
   "Monsters," this doomsday drama records the spread of tentacled creatures   
   across the globe, and their fateful involvement in a raging military conflict   
   in the Middle East.   
      
   Cast: Johnny Harris, Sam Keeley, Joe Dempsie,   
      
      
      
   Not really a monster movie.  This is mostly a rif on the ongoing Imperial   
   occupation of Iraq.  As such most of the movie is macho bonding garbage, lots   
   of shouting but little communication.  No real effort is made to explain the   
   creatures, though the    
   last scene has something almost worthy of a Godzilla film.
