"So many people are enjoying it" because it's basically a rip-off /
reboot of the Original Trilogy, which "many people enjoyed". It doesn't
really add anything new to the franchise.

JJ Abrams is simply an over-hyped, over-egoed, talentless, lazy idiot
who goes around ruining franchises. The one saving grace of his "Star
Wars" movie is that it didn't (yet!!) make lots of idiotic changes for
the sake of it (like his "Star Trek" movie), nor is it a confused mess
(like his "Lost" show, among others).

Even George Lucas has stated that the new movie is basically rubbish
(he said he'd sold the franchise to slave traders), and considering
what some people think of his Prequel Trilogy, that must be an
extremely low threshold to get to.
