   Depends on how you look at it. As I said, *if* his movies are   
   considered "bad" and he thinks this one is awful, then it must be   
   really, really, bad.   
      
   Realistically, his comments were more about the artistic side (being a   
   lazy copy-cat reboot cash-in exercise) rather than the actual quality   
   of the movie itself if it wasn't meant to be part of an existing   
   franchise.
