   NASA discovering that Mark is alive by noticing movements at the Aries 3 camp   
   site.   
      
   Mark communicating with Earth via an improvised alphabet and the camera of an   
   old Mars rover.   
      
   Mark growing potatoes on Mars.   
      
   A care package launch going haywire due to the protein cubed liquifying and   
   shifting.   
      
   The crew of the Hermes looping around Earth (in disobediance of NASA's wishes)   
   to return to Mars to pick up Mark on the fly.   
      
   Mark gutting the Aries 4 Mars Ascent Vehicle to get it light enough to reach   
   the intercept point.  But the MAV is 68 km short, so the Hermes burns 75.5% of   
   its maneuvering fuel to get to Mark, but it will be going at 42 meters/sec   
   relative to him.   
      
   The Hermes crew blowing a hole in the Hermes to let out air to slow down.  The   
   Hermes is still going at 12m/sec relative to Mark, and is 312 meters away.   
      
   Mark therefore punching a hole in his glove so that he can use the escaping   
   air to reach the Hermes commander, who is waiting outside the Hermes.   
      
   At the end, Mark giving a lecture to Aries 5 trainees.  What happened to Aries   
   4?  How did the Aries 4 folks leave Mars (with Mark having used their ascent   
   vehicle!).  How did the Aries 4 mission get to Mars, since the Hermes wasn't   
   available to    
   transport them?  (The Aries 5 folks were to rendezvous with the Hermes to get   
   to Mars).   
      
   New goal for Aries 5: Bring all the astronauts back at the same time!    
   Actually, all the Aries 3 astronauts DID return to Earth's surface at the same   
   time!  The 5 who had left Mars merely decided to loop around Earth and return   
   to Mars for the 6th    
   astronaut!
