   didn’t raise a straw man, I simply stated a general principle that   
   should apply to any decision making process.  And I clipped it because   
   I restated it in what I wrote, and you even quote it below.

   Not parity, and yet another straw man you’re trotting out.  No such   
   person has offered me any such advice.  And I absolutely *would* listen   
   to a wide variety of opinions before deciding what to do with billions   
   of dollars.  Whether or not said advice directly came from Shawn Wilson

   Doesn’t matter.  All that matters is whether or not the advice offers   
   a *new* viewpoint and possibly results in a *better* outcome.  But I   
   now understand that your desire to have an ongoing flame war with   
   YourName doesn’t allow you accept a rational answer from anyone or   
   simply killfile him.

   The only question is whether or not he’d regret it *more* than the   
   decision that *was* made.  If not, Lucas is a fool for not seeking out

   I actually filter out his posts.  I only saw him because you haven’t   
   been adult enough to do the same.  It was my mistake to think you were   
   interested in rational discourse.  I’ve corrected that error.  No need
