   It's partly due to the over-complicated rules and regulations they   
   would have to follow to be able to run the competition in other   
   countries.   
      
   Technically I could cheat. I could enter with a free ".com" email   
   address and then use the New Zealand Post's redirection system that   
   allows parcels to be delivered to a US address and then forwarded to   
   New Zealand ... but that's expensive, so would probably be cheaper to   
   simply buy the books myself (especially since I know someone who works   
   in the local divions and can get 60% off the retail prices).

   I have read some of them (unfortunately, in the case of the likes of   
   "2001" and "Dune") and heard of most of the others ... but "Google [or   
   Amazon] is your fiend". :-)
