   Turner Classic Movies is doing it's "31 Days of Oscar," this time with a   
   category per day; Wednesday is Best Special Effects, so will probably be about   
   the only fantasy or science fiction we'll get this month.   
      
      
   Blithe Spirit (1945) Also nominated for Best Dramatic Presentation   
      
   One Million B.C. (1940), Didn't win but it did get its special effects cut   
   into many another movie.  Also nominated for Best Music, Original Score.

   Then an aviation and two war movies.  Enemy Below, The (1957) is worth   
   watching by anyone who's seen Star Trek's "Balance of Terror".
