   I would agree with everything except maybe the "lazy, talentless hacks"   
   part. Only because I remember meeting a screenwriter once and he told   
   me all the crap he had to go through. If he is the norm, then the   
   actual talent (writers, actors, maybe even directors) are more or   
   less at the mercy of all the higher-ups that are just doing what they   
   can to make money, often without really knowing what they are doing.   
      
   Well... maybe the "lazy, talentless hacks" part applies there, then...
