|    Alita: Battle Angel    |
|    23 Aug 19 01:06:50    |
From: qwrtz123@gmail.com              When Alita awakens with no memory of who she is in a future world she does not       recognize, she is taken in by Ido, a compassionate doctor who realizes that       somewhere in this abandoned cyborg shell is the heart and soul of a young       woman with an        extraordinary past. As Alita learns to navigate her new life and the       treacherous streets of Iron City, Ido tries to shield her from her mysterious       history while her street-smart new friend Hugo offers instead to help trigger       her memories. But it is only        when the deadly and corrupt forces that run the city come after Alita that she       discovers a clue to her past -- she has unique fighting abilities that those       in power will stop at nothing to control.              Cast Rosa Salazar, Christoph Waltz, Keean Johnson, Mahershala Ali, Jennifer       Connelly, Ed Skrein, Jackie Earle Haley, Lana Condor, Idara Victor, Eiza       González, Jeff Fahey, Marko Zaror, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Derek Mears, Leonard       Wu, Rick Yune, Casper Van        Dien, Elle LaMont, Sam Medina, Gregg Berger              Director Robert Rodriguez                     Pretty darn good distopian SF flick, a little predictable but then the ancient       Greeks were the last to create something truly new. The fx isn't just good       but well thought out and consistent. The action is fluid and dynamic. And       the acting was good. I        just wish they had fleshed out her origins a bit more.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
