   The site I work at has a few old buildings that still have those.   
      
   Whenever I have a meeting in one of the buildings (which is not very   
   often) I make a point of riding in one, and, if time permits,   
   go past the last floor and come back up/down again.   
      
   Unlike what some cartoons show, you do not end up upside down :-)
