   He used "Ring Lardner Jr." as his credit, decades after his father died   
   and was no longer junior. His father was the famous sportswriter and   
   humorist.   
      
   And of course, he was one of the Hollywood Ten, but didn't get his own   
   movie unlike Dalton Trumbo.
