   Actually, I noticed long ago (decades ago) that many of my favorite   
   films had Kathleen Kennedy involved, usually as some level of   
   producer.   
      
   But you go right on judging films by their ideology.

   Given your notes above on the fate of other such items, one might ask   
   what they are "on the way" to: being dropped? development hell? five   
   years of cutting and recutting until they are so bland they die?    
      
   IOW, I won't hold my breath waiting.   
      
   If Disney wants to attract /me/ to a new Star Wars film, they can do a   
   sequel to /Solo/.
