   The story about a Short Ciruit reboot has been around since at least   
   2008 with various people, so hasn't been going fast at all.   
      
   There was a news story in May 2024, but it seems to just be a rehash of   
   the older story above:

   We can only hope it, and all the other plans for silly reboots /   
   reimaginings / resurrections are dead. Disney is reportedly looking for   
   *new* material, rather than retreads of old stuff.
