   Night of the Living Dead   
   was?   
      
   Or will it be so well done and rethought that it can be watched   
   directly after the original, as   
   The Stepford Wives   
   War of the Worlds (Pal, Cruise)   
   were?   
      
   Or so well done that it is worth watching when the original was not,   
   as   
   The Thomas Crown Affair   
   turned out to be?   
      
   All evaluations are, of course, IMHO. YMMV.   
      
   But this sort of thing is /very/ hit-or-miss. And the misses are ...   
   terrible.
