   Yes, that's a good find although I'm happy with the cd transfers. I   
   guess there are some premium rereleases for collectors. Beautiful   
   playing, of course. I think I got the late AK to buy a copy but he never   
   mentioned listening to it. Maybe there was an anecdote about using   
   American recordists but I can't find confirmation on that at the moment.   
      
   Austin is no longer enjoying hundred-degree highs and drought. I don't   
   get out much so I missed some concerts (Queen, Kraftwerk, Sparks) I   
   would have enjoyed but I did catch a Mahler symphony, the one with tenor   
   horn. After the extended solo in the first movement the player sat   
   quietly for the rest of the piece.   
      
   I've also been listening to lots of sunshine pop and picturing all those   
   old LA studios and session players involved.
