   I searched high and low for the source of this story. Despite my strong doubts   
   anything would turn up, I did find a possible origin point. Here's some other   
   interesting tidbits from the same fount of creativity that Witlessboob   
   will likely adopt as gospel "truth".   
      
   The KKK, that venerable organization that elevated lynching to a religious   
   ritual,   
   was actually founded by descendants of Abraham Lincoln. Apparently they were   
   deeply ashamed of how that President resolved the slavery question, so they   
   wanted   
   to have the last laugh.   
      
   Also, it turns out that whereas the Bible's Old Testament was full of wild   
   stories   
   like a man living in a great big fish, a libertine's wife being transmuted   
   into salt,   
   and a single apple proffered by a talking snake leading to Adam and Eve getting   
   expelled from paradise, the New Testament is all verifiably true. This   
   astonishing   
   factoid was established beyond any doubt by the Starfleet Log compiled by   
   Cmdr. JEE-zus, who mastered time travel in order to deliver a more appealing   
   story of "Creation".   
      
   Remember ol' Joseph Mccarthy, whose witch hunt for commies and deviants   
   disturbed the relative tranquility of the postwar decade? He wasn't a scummy   
   opportunist who was only too happy to destroy innocent people's lives for a   
   chance at notoriety. No, Mccarthy was actually a sanctified prophet of progress   
   whose machinations were intended to cleanse the country of racial and religious   
   impurities. Despite conventional wisdom, those faultlines of social stress were   
   the real reason the Third Reich collapsed, and the far-seeing Mccarthy stood   
   upon the prow of the American ship of state in order to guide us to what he   
   knew to be the promised land of white Christendom.
