   What a sad anecdote. Good thing EVs are so expensive only people who can   
   afford to repair them can buy them in the first place.   
      
   In more typical cases, minor accident repairs for small EVs are "27%   
   more than the average for roughly comparable non-EV models," and 53%   
   more for SUVs according to sources quoted in Forbes.
