XPost: rec.audio.pro       From: chuck@deja.net              A friend of mine just picked up this amplifier and I was wondering if       anyone knows anything about the company. The circuitry consists of a       mix of mid 70s to mid 80s parts. RC4136s (which were used by Tapco in       the mid 70s but were not used by many companies after that because of       their poor s/n ratio) and a NE5532 which I didn't see in any       equipment before the mid 80s. The power supply has physically very       small Japanese filter capacitors and a toroidal power transformer,       again not common until the mid 80s. Driver transistors are small RCA       metal can transistors of the 40409 40410 size minus the attached       heatsinks. (Mid 70s vintage) My friend is also interested in the       year of manufacture. Thanks.
