   that was the one made by D&S.  It was only the size of an old 5 A plug.   
   the BBC used them for "technical supplies" - to stop cleaners plugging   
   vacuum cleaner in - amongst other things.  They were replaced by ones made   
   by Walsall which look like a standard 13A plug - at a first glance - and   
   then you see the pins are rotated by 90°.  There was also anthor one which   
   the NSHEB adopted originally - about tehn size of a 15A plug with a round   
   earth pin and rectangular ones for the live & neutral.
