   Not sure if this is the right place for this question but here goes.   
      
   I got an LG blu ray player for Xmas and had geek squad guy hook it up.   
      
   Since then everything works fine except I can't keep the player off.  No   
   matter how I try, whether by using the remote or pushing the power button on   
   the player, the unit turns itself right back to on.   
      
   I feel fairly confident that it is a connection issue but can't find a fix for   
   it.   
      
   I used to sell hi do gear and had to set up various components but HDMI is not   
   my friend.   
      
   Any help will be greatly appreciated.
