   Yes. Both Farnell and RS have always been quick, even   
   with deliveries outside the UK.   
      
   Online shopping too has made huge difference to the   
   level of service generally. Suppliers know that they   
   cannot keep a customer waiting weeks for a back   
   order when that same customer can buy on line from   
   a supplier who has the item in stock probably at a   
   more competitive price.
