   noise and then a second order filter and perhaps a 19kHz notch filter   
   is wise. A radio set should not be able to amplify 455kHz anywhere   
   after the AM detector, and if there is a small amount of 455kHz ripple   
   applied to the AF amp, it should not matter at all because tubes will   
   cope, without detectable Dn created.
