From: invalid@not-for-mail.invalid Why is it that the 6DW5 is not used any longer in PP audio amplifiers. A pair can output 30 watts vs 17 watts for a pair of 6BQ5 /EL84. The price of the 6DW5 is a third of the 6BQ5. I remember adjusting the different bias of my father's BOGEN DB230 40 years ago.
