   The 6L6s, if they take more drive than the EL34s, 'might' be the cause   
   of the 6AN8 clipping but, past that, I'd recheck resistance values, to   
   see if any have drifted, or maybe a leaky cap altering bias, gassy   
   tube? etc. It 'ought to work'.
