   Hello all,

So I ordered the parts for this project from AES today. Here's what I ordered:

   Products on order:
   4 x	Capacitor - 500V, Axial Lead Electolytic, JJ Electronics, 20µF $23.00
   ($5.75 each)
   SKU: C-ET20-500-JJ
   Capacitance: 20 µF

   1 x	Can Capacitor, Multi-section, 40/40/20/20uF 525VDC, CE Manufacturing -
   $37.95
   SKU: C-EC4020X2-525

   1 x	Can Capacitor, Multi-section, 20/20uF 450VDC, CE Manufacturing - $30.95

   4 x	Capacitor - Electrolytic, Axial Lead, 220 µF @ 50 VDC - $2.00 ($0.50 each)
   SKU: C-ET220-50

   4 x	Capacitor - Axial Lead Electrolytic, 50 µF @ 50 VDC - $2.00 ($0.50 each)
   SKU: C-ET50-50

You'll notice that I ordered a few extra caps for my stock, so the parts just
for this amp came to about $85. Considering that includes two twistlock cans,
I think this is a pretty good deal. These CE caps sure aren't as cheap as the
   Aero-M caps were,
but those were made in Mexico anyhow.

I've been playing the amp now for a few days, and I've taken note of some
issues mainly a nasty sag in the power supply after high amplitude bass notes
or kick drum hits. It causes the woofer to 'suck in' when it happens. I've
taken video of it and I
will upload it soon. We should see that largely disappear after the
capacitors are replaced. Other than that, the amp sounds very good. Nice L-R
balance, good soundstage, sounds nice with the EQ set flat. Hum is quite low,
   but present if you get
close enough to the speaker. That should also go away after new caps. The
   phono section sounds amazing, btw!

There's not much to do here until I either get the parts or we hear from JRC
regarding his amp, so for now I'll bid you all a good weekend.

   Cheers,
