   Recently found an old stereo cabinet the only thing in it was an Elac 10, Did   
   some research, plugged it in and as quiet as a mouse. Has a pickering on it   
   bought a new stylus, and I can compare it to my Duals, Have about 20 Duals.  I   
   liked the Elac so    
   much, bout another model 50H to put in a 1963 Fisher Console. Even though they   
   may not have been superior tt back in the day, it looks better and plays   
   better then the plastic expensive stuff today. My first tt was a Dual 1212 my   
   parents bought me for    
   Christmas in 1968 or 69, I was 12 or 13 then. Still using it today!  What a   
   shame electronics arent made like that anymore
