   As it turns out, I had a matched quad SED OTK 6550's in my collection so we'll   
   start with those, can't get much better. I have a quad of Sylvania 6550's but   
   those are my golden stash, last resort. JJ's have also been recommended by   
   others- from a dealer    
   that screens @ higher voltages. JJ's come from Slovakia, a NATO country. No   
   problem sending money to them. A month or 2 ago- true, Russian tubes were   
   tough to find, now some of the "1st line" dealers seem to have stock.
