From: Snag_one@msn.com               I'm having a shop do some upgrades to the trans in my truck - this is       not the original, came from a van . The converter lockup solenoid has a       problem , either a shorted coil or grounded supply wire because it keeps       blowing the fuse (which also is the power supply for the radio!) . The       shop has recommended I change it to a hydraulic lockup device and I'm       wondering if it's a good idea . Anybody here have experience ?        I'm also having the speedo drive gears replaced (new axle ratio)       along with the tail housing bushing and seal , and a shift kit .       --       Snag        My rights don't end       where your fear begins .              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
