   Engines use oil due to:   
   Leaks - it won't leak much when sitting still.   
   Piston rings - will burn oil when driving.   
   Valve guide seals - will suck oil when at high vac times and burn when   
   accelerating.   
   If the CAT is doing it's job then you may not see any smoke.
