   Depends on the clearances and bearings used in each engine manufacture.   
   IMHO it would not be a sensible economy!   
   Use SAE30 Mineral Oil. (Single weight not multigrade).   
   If you like you can make up one mix and then adjust it for other motors   
   my chart made many years ago reads:   
   25:1>>40:1 add Pet till = 1.6 orig.vol.   
   25:1>>50:1 add pet till = 2x orig.vol.   
   40:1>>50:1 add pet till = 1.25 orig.vol.   
   40:1>>25:1 add oil @ 15ml per liter   
   50:1>>25:1 add oil @ 20ml per liter
