Also, when the GPS gets confused and thinks you are       > on a parallel road "turn right" ...              I can't disagree.       Seems to me the better gps apps would zoom in to show       the shape of the intersection for the time that you       are in the intersection (or just before it) and additionally       speak both the turn directions and the names and headings       of the roads.              For example, instead of "take the slip road left in 50 m",       it should say "take the slip road in 50 m for highway 1 north"       (or something like that).              My Garmin nuvi did that, but I haven't yet found a free app       that does it on Android or iPhone (but I'm new to iPhone so       there's still a chance I will find what we need).              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
