   Nope. Research studies are inaccurate, pointless, and don't really   
   "prove" anything at all. There can easily be another study that proves   
   the other point of view ... just look at medical studies where one week   
   "proves" that wine / apples / whatever is good for you, and then the   
   next week another study "proves" they are bad for you. Pretty much   
   every other month a new study "proves" that using a cellphone as a   
   phone does / doesn't give you brain tumours.   
      
   I've already said there are studies that prove drivers are distracted   
   by using a cellphone. Plus, are people more distracted in the afertnoon   
   or evening than the morning? Are they more distracted if they haven't   
   eaten for a while than just after having lunch?   
      
   The study sample sizes are way too small, they simply ignore *MANY,   
   MANY* other potential factors, and (especially in the case of medical   
   studies) run for far too short a timeframe.
