   I've always wondered why so many people *think* they're so   
   much better than everyone else when it comes to driving.   
      
   Had I asked them to rate themselves as, say, a tennis player,   
   or as a golfer, I doubt the vast majority would think they're   
   a five out of five.   
      
   But, with driving, almost everyone I've asked thinks they're   
   far better than average.   
      
   Me? I'm probably below average, what with my disdain for   
   what-I-perceive-to-be-idiotic cellphone and stop-sign laws.   
      
   And, please, don't get me started on the absolutely moronic   
   message-by-committee idiotic childish admonishments on the   
   California amber alert signs!
