   The root cause of the shootings is most likely the FDA approved,   
   government licensed doctor prescribed drugs. They are the common   
   thread and violent and/or suicidal outbursts are known side effects.   
   Blaming guns is like blaming the car.

   Driving in the USA is dumbed down so much that the result is bordom.   
   This is the direction things started heading in the 1930s. As driving   
   becomes more boring it becomes something people do while doing something   
   else. They need entertainment while driving because driving is boring.   
   In order to discourage driving it is now being made painful in some   
   places. This only drives people to diversion to numb the pain of sitting   
   in endless traffic jams.   
      
   Americans don't root cause. It's an obey and punish society. People   
   feel instead of think. Thus only a few socially unacceptable   
   distractions are banned. Furthermore if bad driving were punished then   
   it wouldn't play social favorites with regards to contributing factors   
   for the bad driving.
