   Hmmm ... so you get in the car and find it all frosted up, they ignore   
   that and drive off. Then X blocks down the road they suddenly realise   
   they can't see anything and start fiddling with the defroster while   
   still driving ... nope, the sensible version is to turn on the   
   defroster before you drive off. If you must turn it off again later,   
   then wait until you're at least stopped at a red trtaffic light, or   
   even better pull over and stop somehwere safe ... you DO NOT fiddle   
   with it while driving along.
