The bicyclist needs to be moving a significant speed for the road for
   this occur.

A few years ago I am biking at about 22-25mph on a residential road
which I believe is posted at 30mph. As I am entering an S curve and SUV
driver passes me and then has that "Holy crap" "there's a SHARP CURVE"
and nails the brakes. I have to brake to avoid being "impaled on his
tailpipe" (ok, smashing my face into the tailgate window). I yell
something like "go" and this guy didn't like it. He turns and I go by
and then he does a U-turn and brush passes me, stops up ahead and starts
yelling at me... why? Because he can't drive his luxury German SUV
   properly.
