   You must not live in a climate where window fogging can be an issue   
   dealt with by opening windows slightly and/or changing heater and   
   defroster controls.  And no, the proper settings cannot be determined in   
   advance before starting the trip in all cases (particularly if one does   
   not want to waste fuel by letting the vehicle idle for 10 minutes or   
   more to warm up completely), or even when the vehicle is running at a   
   standstill on the side of the road.   
      
   If it starts to rain, do you pull over before turning the wipers on?
