   The only time I do not change lanes in this situation is when someone is   
   following closely behind me, as they would most likely use my changing   
   lanes as an opportunity to speed up and pass me on the wrong side. :(   
      
   So I slow way down instead, forcing the idiot behind me to either also   
   slow down or change into the passing lane (as he/she should).
