I have a few questions, first the background, going to spend some time in   
   Hawaii for something like a year. This is job related. Here are the questions:   
      
   1. The vehicle will keep non-Hawaii plates for the duration   
   2. Will I still need to get a HI safety inspection even though I will keep my   
   plates from a different state ?   
   3. If the HI inspection is required even with out of states, are they more   
   lenient with cars from a different state versus Hawaii or just as harsh   
   regardless ?   
   4. What about insurance ?
