   A car can stop faster than a truck.  A motorcycle can stop faster than a   
   car.  If a smaller vehicle crashes into the larger vehicle in front   
   thereof, the driver of the smaller vehicle was NOT paying sufficient   
   attention.  If the woman was stopped in a place where she couldn't be   
   seen from the rear in time for the motorcycle to stop, she was doubly   
   stupid.

   I think the MC driver's error is irrelevant;  stopping on a freeway --   
   especially in the fast lane -- for any reason beyond mechanical failure   
   is so stupid that the woman should have been executed on the spot.  I   
   saw something like that happen in the slow lane once -- the idiot came   
   to a complete stop to let someone in from the on-ramp.  Normal freeway   
   traffic, no reason to even slow down for the entering car, much less   
   stop.  There's just never an armed road-rager around when you need one :-(
