   ???  First of all.. there is no such thing as a semi truck.  The semi   
   refers to the trailer, a semi trailer being one where the towing vehicle   
   bears part of the weight.  Secondly, unloaded semis have lots of braking   
   power but not enough weight to ensure that the tires  maintain solid   
   contact with the road when the brakes are applied.
