   Perhaps they're getting their routing info from Garmin.  In addition to   
   the insanities previously mentioned, it has upon occasion told me to   
   skip the OPEN freeway on-ramp right down the street, continue on to the   
   next main street, turn left and take the surface street until I get to   
   the next on-ramp.
