Rental car had one of those things. With a regular key, there's a
convenient place to put it while you're driving -- IN THE KEYHOLE. With
the fob, you have to put it in a pocket, a purse, or just leave it
somewhere -- requiring you to find it when you get out of the car. You
can't just leave it in your pocket or purse because you have to push the
damn button to lock/unlock the car. I know the high-end cars work that
way, but how many people are going to buy a Lexus so they don't have to
   hunt for their keys?

I REALLY want there to be cars with crank windows, physical doorlocks,
real throttles and brakes... you know, like back when we were kids and
   could fix our own cars.
