When they arrived, they       learned that a 21-year-old woman was driving the van while the       boy, who is her brother, and a friend were holding on to it       while riding skateboards, said Orange County Sheriff’s Sgt. Rich       Himmel.              The 9-year-old, who lives in Dana Point, was holding on to the       driver’s window when he lost control of the skateboard. He fell       under the left back wheel of the van and suffered severe       injuries.              He was pronounced dead at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo at       6:47 p.m. Sunday.              The Orange County coroner identified the boy Monday as Nathan       Smith. He would have turned 10 on July 18. No charges have been       filed in the incident.              A GoFundMe account has been set up to help the family pay for       funeral expenses.              Staff writer Alma Fausto contributed to this report.              http://www.ocregister.com/2017/06/26/9-year-old-boy-dies-after-       being-run-over-by-van-near-doheny-state-beach/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
