   A ten-year-old boy from Norway decided to take his father's car   
   for a joyride but ended up stuck in snow.   
      
   The boy took his 18-month-old sister in the family car – fitted   
   obviously with an automatic transmission - and managed to travel   
   for approximately 6 miles (10 km) en route to their   
   grandmother's house until they got stuck in snow. It happened on   
   a country road in south-eastern Norway and the police was   
   informed after a snowplough driver noticed the stranded vehicle.   
      
   Local media mentions the adventurous boy told a snowplough   
   operator that he was a dwarf and ended up in the ditch after   
   making a U-turn as he wanted to go back home to get his driver's   
   license. The police took the uninjured kids back home to their   
   parents who said they will be more careful from now on with the   
   car's keys.
