(WGN) — Retired NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested       Thursday in Tennessee for allegedly driving intoxicated.              Officers responded to the 200 block of Bridge Street at around 5 p.m. in       Franklin, Tennessee, on the report of a minor traffic collision involving       two vehicles.              Cutler allegedly rear-ended another vehicle and was slurring his words       with bloodshot eyes, according to police.              Cutler refused field sobriety tests and was taken to a hospital where a       blood sample was taken through a warrant.              Officers also found two firearms in his vehicle, including a loaded       pistol.              Cutler was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a       handgun while under the influence, failure to exercise due care to avoid a       collision and violation of implied consent of the law.              Cutler was booked into the Williamson County jail, then released Thursday       evening on a $5,000 bond, reported Nexstar’s WKRN. No further information       regarding the incident was immediately available.              Cutler has been in the media after his divorce from reality star Kristin       Cavalleri. He also hosts a podcast.              The former first-round pick, from Santa Claus, Indiana, was traded from       the Denver Broncos to the Chicago Bears following the 2008 season. Cutler       had a career 52-52 win-loss record with the Bears in eight seasons. He was       also a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins during his 12-year career.              He retired from the NFL in 2017.              https://www.wtnh.com/news/national/former-nfl-quarterback-jay-cutler-       arrested-on-dui-gun-charges/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
