   No doubt you've come across tales of Broderick Crawford's drinking problem.    
   Like how the producers wanted to get in as much filming as possible before   
   lunchtime because Broderick would frequently come back completely soused.  Or   
   how the CHP, after the    
   first season, insisted that the TV shows patrol cars NO LONGER LOOK like the   
   CHP cars because Broderick would drive the TV cars in an attempt to avoid   
   getting pulled over.  Ahhh, the 50s+ACE-
