To All Owners Of: DAK World Band Receiver MR-101s:              I got mine free at a Take-It-Or-Leave-It barn at my       local dump. Works fine, not the best noise rejection, and        the antenna telesopes but no 360° swivel.              My issue:               The On/Off Timer function engages every night, at        2:08AM, even though I repeatedly reset the on and        off times both to 00:00 - 12 midnight.              It doesn't wake me us as I use it as a kitchen radio,        away from my bedroom, and I discovered it was        coming on when I came down one early morning        at 2:15 to address my asthma.              I have since repeatedly zeroed out the on/off times,       and of course turned of the On-Time-Off switch.                     Please advise me, as the instruction manual is        hard to find on line, and the only site that has it it        requires account setup to access it - more        BULLSHIT.              Thanks in advance for suggesting anything I might       be missing....!              PS my Grunding Buzz Aldrin G6 had the opposite issue:       It would NOT come on when scheduled even though I        had followed all the step for it to come on, run for specified       time period, and shut back off.              I know what y'all are probably thinking!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
